The working principle of the paging and labeling machine is to achieve an integrated process of automatic separation (paging), precise conveyance, label positioning and affixing, and reinforcement and overlaying of products through the collaborative cooperation of mechanical structure and intelligent control. Specifically, it can be divided into the following core steps:

Product sorting: separating items to be labeled
Products to be labeled (such as cards, plastic bags, paper boxes, paper, etc.) are placed in the hopper or on the conveyor belt of the sorting system.

The paging mechanism (usually composed of friction wheels, belts, material dividers, or suction devices) separates stacked products one by one through mechanical force or negative pressure adsorption, avoiding adhesion or overlap. For example: friction-based paging: it utilizes the speed difference between the upper and lower friction wheels to separately feed out the bottommost product.

Air suction paging: The edges of the products are adsorbed by negative pressure suction cups, and they are pulled apart one by one with the help of a conveyor belt.

The separated products enter the conveyor track at uniform intervals, providing stable "single processing" conditions for subsequent labeling.

Product conveying and positioning
The paginated products are smoothly transported to the labeling station by conveying devices such as belt conveyors and roller lines.

During the conveying process, the equipment utilizes photoelectric sensors or encoders to monitor the position and speed of the product in real-time, ensuring that the product is at the preset precise location (such as the center of the plane, a specific area on the side, etc.) when labeling.

Label supply and synchronous triggering
The label roll is installed on the unwinding mechanism of the labeling head. The label tape passes through the guide roller and tension control device and is sent to the label peeling plate (a key component for separating the label from the backing paper).

When sensors (such as fiber optic sensors, proximity switches) detect that the product has reached the labeling station, they immediately send a signal to the control system (PLC or microcontroller).

The control system calculates and triggers the labeling action based on preset parameters (such as product speed, label length, and labeling delay): it drives the traction motor to rotate, peeling the label off the backing paper while ensuring synchronization between the label and the product's movement speed and position.

Label affixing
After peeling off, the label is precisely attached to the preset position (flat, curved, or irregular surface) of the product under the action of mechanical force (such as rubber roller pressing) or pneumatic thrust.

At the moment of labeling, the front end or the entire label comes into contact with the surface of the product, and is initially fixed using the inherent stickiness of the label (self-adhesive).

Cover and reinforce
The labeled products continue to be conveyed to the labeling device (such as rubber pressure roller, brush, or sponge wheel).

The labeling machine applies uniform pressure to the label, eliminating bubbles and wrinkles, ensuring the label adheres closely to the product surface and is securely affixed to prevent detachment in the later stages.

Circular operation and feedback adjustment
The labeled products are sent to the discharge end, while the processes of paging, conveying, and labeling continue to cycle, achieving batch automated production.

Some high-end equipment is equipped with a visual inspection system that can monitor labeling accuracy in real-time (such as deviation and missed labeling), and automatically adjust parameters (such as traction speed and trigger timing) through the control system to ensure stability.

In brief, the core of the paging and labeling machine lies in the closed-loop process of "paging - detection - synchronization - labeling - reinforcement", which transforms unordered stacked products into orderly individual units and efficiently and accurately completes label application. It is widely applicable to industrial scenarios requiring batch labeling.
